About the Author

Thomas Langdon

Thomas Langdon was born and raised in Minnesota, where the lakes, woods, and people gave him more stories than he could ever get down on paper.

He is drawn to plainspoken stories about trust, long friendships, complicated relationships, small towns, and the things people leave unsaid for far too long.

Before turning to fiction, Thomas spent more than four decades building, running, and advising businesses. That experience gives Misread its inside view of negotiations, loyalties, personalities, and the way trust can become a liability.

The Stories

Recognizable people. Complicated choices.

Langdon's novels move between northern lake country, relationships that have decades of history behind them, and high-stakes business situations where reading people matters as much as reading the numbers.

The common thread is simple: people do not always say what they mean, and they do not always understand the consequences until the choice has already been made.
